Microscope Slide Holders

November 22, 2006 at 7:39 am (Reviews, ideas, projects, samples)

Microscope slides have been around as a favourite little “art toy” for a while now and make gorgeous additions to card fronts, canvases and turned into jewellery pieces such as necklaces and brooches.  You can add opals (thick embossing powder), foil tape and even solder the edges of 2 slides together with your chosen images sandwiched inbetween the slides. Below are some photos of nifty little slide holders that take two 1″ x 3″ slides and make postage safe plus give the recepient  a gorgeous keepsake. You’ll notice a handy little notch that is at the top of each slide, as part of the holder it makes removing them a breeze! The holders are $1.95 each and lots of fun to decorate as you can see by the photos below. Click on each for a larger view!

Santa Claus is coming to town!

November 21, 2006 at 7:23 pm (Christmas, Email Us)

Have you been good this year? Do you think Santa might be thinking about spoiling you this Christmas?  Well, to help him decide what to get you, we have provided all our customers with their very own “Dear Santa” wish list my-christmas-wish-list.pdf .  There’s no fuss for Santa! just print, fill it in and stick it on the fridge.  Fingers crossed that Santa’s elves pick it up with all the other wish lists he collects before the big night!!

Santa will soon realise what a good idea it was of us to help him out, especially with wrapping and even delivering (see wish list for details)  It’s a lovely jolly coloured letter to Santa so if you are printing out and want to save your ink, set your printer to draft mode. A Beautiful Dress

November 16, 2006 at 10:20 pm (ideas, photos, ribbons, samples)

Just another reason for Lisa to have such a big home studio! What a beautiful way she has found to showcase her gazillions of ribbons! A fabulous idea and a great excuse to purchase such a wonderful piece. Lisa did you justify it to Rick by the fact that it was ”decorative yet elegantly functional addition to the family home as it could also be classified as ”storage”?  Hehe!  For everyone out there, Lisa has passed on that her “lady” isn’t finished and she still has quite a bare backside! I’m sure it won’t take Lisa long to rectify that!
