The ATC’s received for August, with the theme Pretty in Pink were gorgeous, as you can see below. 

The theme for September is All about Dad.  If you would like to participate in the ATC swap, call or email us to find out the details so you too can receive a set of ATCs to add to or start a collection.  Don’t forget that postage has gone up when putting stamps on your self addressed envelopes.

Ok, here goes hopefully, since having a cliche in the system just recently, we had to replace our program that allowed us to post photos on the Blog etc., we have still our ‘L’s’ on with this program, so here goes……:

Apologies to those of you have entered into the ATC swap of recent times, but haven’t had the pleasure of seeing your work on the Blog, we discovered a cliche in the system that has now being corrected.  So here are May’s wonderful ATC’s for Mum’s the Word:

Don’t forget, if you are participating in the swap, it is important that you provide the self addressed envelope with $1 postage if you wish to have your set sent to you.

For those of you who have been wondering when the A.T.C. swaps would be back  – well they’re back.  The first one is due at the end on November, the theme for this one is Classic Christmas.  The following themes are January – Carnival, February – Little Girls.

To participate in the swap, you need to make 6 A.T.C’s the same (the size is 3.5″ x 2.5″).  On the back of each card please write your details:  name and email address, plus also the Title you have named your ATC.  Each card also needs to have some hand stamping on it.

Send your ATC’s with $1.00 worth of stamps and a self addressed business sized envelope to:

ATC Swap, Scrapbook Designs, PO Box 1254, ALBANY   WEST AUST 6331, or drop them into the shop.  You will then receive 5 ATC’s from other swap participants in return.  You can send as many sets of 6 in as you like.  At the end we will exhibit the whole collection in store.

If you would like to join this swap, but are not sure what to do, come and see the girls at the shop (or call us) where you can see a display of previous cards, or just get a bit more information.  This is great fun to do, and a wonderful way of seeing other peoples wonderful work and getting to know new people. 

 Another great swag of ATC (artist trading cards) came in to us for the April ATC swap with Time and Clocks as the theme. Our monthly ATC swaps are fantastic and fun.  It’s a great chance to collect other people’s artwork PLUS ideal to see upclose, techniques you didn’t know about.  What a way to inspire yourself & others!! Please feel free to join our monthly swap and of course, tell all your friends too. The more the merrier!

At this stage, our ATC swaps are open to Australian residents only.

Please make ATC cards 2.5” x 3.5” in size, metric measure is 6.5cm x 9cm. Your ATC’s must include some hand stamped imagery.

Following the success of our ATC (artist trading cards) swaps last year and now that kiddies are back to school and there is time to create, we have pleasure in bringing you the next 3 – yes 3!! swap themes for the coming months.  February is Black and White, March is Time and Clocks and April is Women. So get creating!  Entries are due in by the last day of each month. Below are the fabbo entries in our last ATC swap themed “travel”.  Although it was very close to Christmas to get these done, we received some stunning entries by some very clever ladies. Click on each thumbnail for a larger view.  My apologies to Emma who made the last atc in the style of a suitcase.  Our scanner decided it wouldn’t add the handle of the suitcase that made the entry a novel idea.  Sorry Em!!

OHHH and AHHH….the last fantastic round from our ATC (Artist Trading Cards) swap are due out tomorrow. Marie Otero’s (Lost Aussie Designer/Owner) eclectic digital photo inspired images are premium unmounted sheets of rubber that are fantastic for atc’s! Check out Maries site for more information on this very talented artist who also happens to be one of our very good friends!  Although Marie “really” resides in the US, this special lady spends several months a year living somewhere else……….where I hear you ask??? Where else but in our little nook of the world,  Albany Western Australia where she grew up!!  We have been more than lucky enough to have her teach and guest demo at Scrapbook Designs and can hopefully twist her arm to run another stellar workshop when she visits again in the New Year!!
