Product Review – Daisy D’s Diecuts
We recently received an extensive array of the Daisy D’s diecut range, here are some photos representing the designs we have http://scrapbookdesigns.wordpress.com/2007/03/07/yumdaisy-ds-papers-and-die-cuts/ and below are some pieces we have been playing around with.

The die cuts fall away easily from their sheet making these life like accents just perfect for filling blank spaces. The diecuts are all double sided with both sides just as yummy as each other. The flowers were especially easy to place under and on top of the photo edges. The background was dry brushed with Jo Sonjas “mouse” coloured paint and then large foam stamp circles were “messily” placed around the page. Heat dry with emboss it tool or airdry, then stamp a flourish image with Moonlight White brilliance ink pad randomly.
Both the above layout and the below card were made under an hour. The vintage tag on the card was overstamped at the bottom in Brilliance Pearl Rust with a flourish style stamp before attaching all the layers and popping a ribbon through the tag hole!

What to Scrapbook?
A recent trip to see my sister & family in Bunbury gave me opportunity to spend some time taking photos. My niece Clare obviously had to smile for the camera just a WEE bit and as most children, she made for fantastic photos. After some great ”niece” shots I started to look around the back garden for other subject matter that would make interesting topics or additions for scrapbook pages. Along with some obvious shots of Clare’s pet rabbits, the 3 below photos were taken at random but give a great representation of Clare’s personality. She loves pink, enjoys playing, spends lots of time outdoors and has a funky sense of fashion (OK, more to the point her mum does). I just love those wellies!! if only they made them in my size!!!!
Next time you are bored with taking “people shots”, have a look around your environment, you just might be pleasantly surprised at the results. Happy snapping, Elaine
