A Little Bit of This………………….and a Little Bit of That

This set of 3 cards show you that you don’t have to own everything to come up with different looks from the same products. We have used very little in the way of the base tools but just look what can be made out by adding a few bits and pieces.

We achieved all 3 cards with just 1 sheet of 12 x 12 bazzill pink cardstock, 1 sheet of patterned paper, 1 ink pad that we used to stamp our images with and also to add colour around the edges of just about every paper element of the cards.  This gives depth and definition to the cards by bringing together the light and dark contrasts and the outline of the different shapes on each card together.

A corner rounder paper punch has been used on all the straight edge pieces before attaching to soften the overall effect, resulting in an almost retro look when teamed with the type of patterned paper used and the finished “block” placement of all pieces.

Each card is finished with embellishments such as buttons, paper flowers and punched shapes that were cut out of left over cardstock.

They are on show in store with details if you want an upclose look (sorry to tease those of you that don’t live close by enough!).  If you click on each card though you will get a larger picture which we give you the detail on the card.
