Not just heritage…

Big hello to you this Monday morning.  Start of another week and we thought we would kick it off with an upload of a card that celebrates friendship.  Why not take this week to make at least 1 card for a special friend to let them know how you feel?

The Stamp It image of the ruler with the Friendship Measure quote it is part of the Yesteryear range.  It is a stamp that is presented with a coloured index in a sepia colour.  The other stamps in the collection evoke a vintage feel and we have used it as a background stamp and on ATC’s a lot in this way.  It was a pleasant surprise to see how good it looks teamed with a colour scheme and other stamps in a non vintage project.  What we have found is that sometimes just having a go with something you are unsure about doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not going to work out.  Have a go with a stamp you usually only use in a certain way or with the same colour every time and see if it changes the feel of the image.  You may find a whole new way to use your stamps! Have a great day, the Scrapbook Designs team!
