Next time you’re making a card for someone, what about personalising it with some easy doodle journaling?  Words, phrases or anecdotes written in all the right places for the person your card is for looks great.  Doodling is also all the rage to add to your scrapbook pages. Rollerball gel pens in white & black are a must have in any doodlers supplies! If you have solid stamps such as hearts, stars etc – you can make your journaling follow the shape of your image, this makes things a bit easier.  Once you have practiced with different pens, cardstocks and your handwriting, you will soon find your doodling inspiration!

Our sample is a 17th birthday celebration for a teenage son on the cusp of manhood.  It celebrates his identity and personalises the phrases of the stamps used. Even if you think you have messy handwriting, practice makes perfect! Happy doodling!
